A small K-5 Christian school that wanted families to be able to learn about it, and reach it, before they ever called.
The school
Shining Light Christian Academy serves grades K-5 out of Elkins First Baptist Church in West Virginia.
Families had no easy way to learn about the curriculum, meet the staff, or find out how to enroll. The school wanted a site that felt warm and trustworthy, that staff could point parents to, and that kept costs manageable for a small nonprofit.
What I built
A staff directory with photos and bios for 12 staff members, easy to browse on any device
A photo gallery of student activities, field trips, and performances
Curriculum pages covering 8 subjects, and an admissions page with the steps to enroll, HOPE Scholarship information, and common questions
A contact form that filters out spam and sends parents a confirmation email
A shared Dropbox folder so staff can keep adding photos themselves
