How it works

No mystery. No surprises.

Here's how working with me goes, from the first free checkup to every month after launch.

The steps

  1. Free checkup

    I look over your current website (if you have one) and your Google profile, and tell you in plain English what's working and what's holding you back. No charge, no pressure.

  2. Plan and quote

    I learn about your business and your customers, then tell you which plan fits, what the site will include, and exactly what it costs. No surprises later.

  3. I build it, and you see it as it comes together

    I gather your photos and wording (and help write it if you'd like), then build your site. You get frequent check-ins along the way, so you're never wondering what's happening. You can ask for changes at any point.

  4. Launch

    When you're happy with it, I put it live. I handle the technical setup, connect your Google Business Profile, and walk you through it.

  5. I look after it every month

    Updates, security, backups, and your content changes. Text me a new price or holiday hours and it's done. If anything ever breaks, it's restored.

You always know what's going on.

  • You talk to me. Call, text, or email the person building your site. You'll hear back within one business day.
  • Frequent check-ins. While I build, I keep you posted on what's done, what's next, and anything I need from you.
  • Clear billing. Published prices and no surprise charges. You always know what you're paying for.

You're never locked in.

Your website is yours. Want your files? Ask anytime and you'll get them, free. No exit fees, no hostage situations.

Plans have a 12-month minimum for billing, then go month-to-month. That minimum has nothing to do with your files: they're yours from the start. More on owning your site.

For the technical folks

The details your web developer or IT person might ask about. You don't need any of this to work with me.

Tools. Sites are built with Next.js and React in TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, and hosted on Vercel. Supabase (PostgreSQL) is added only when a project needs a database or logins. Stripe handles payments; card data never touches the site.

Security. HTTPS everywhere, Content Security Policy and HSTS headers, input validation at every form and API boundary, and monthly dependency updates.

Performance. Server rendering, automatic image optimization (WebP/AVIF, lazy loading), code splitting, and edge caching, checked on real phones before launch.

Testing. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on iOS and Android, plus keyboard and screen-reader checks before launch.
