We're Ryan and Jessica Dalton — a family putting down roots in the Shenandoah Valley and building websites for our neighbors.
I've been fascinated with building websites since middle school — customizing MySpace pages, experimenting with GeoCities, and teaching myself HTML in Dreamweaver. But life had other plans before I could turn that passion into a career.
I spent a decade behind the wheel as a truck driver, serving eight years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Bridge Crewmember along the way. It was honest work, but I never stopped tinkering with code on the side. In 2021, I finally made the leap — went all-in on software development, and haven't looked back.
My first professional role was as a federal government contractor, building applications for large agencies where security and reliability weren't optional. From there, I moved into enterprise software development — leading teams, modernizing legacy systems, and learning what it takes to build software that actually works at scale.
Now I bring all of that experience to Mosaic Ridge. The same standards that government agencies and Fortune 500 companies demand? That's what your small business website gets built with.
I currently work full-time as a frontend software engineer, building applications used by thousands of people every day. Mosaic Ridge is our family business — a way to use those same skills to help local businesses compete online.
My background includes federal government contracting, enterprise software development, and leading development teams. That experience shows in every website we build.
The same coding standards used by government agencies and enterprise companies — not template hacks that break in six months.
Experience optimizing applications for speed and reliability. I've made enterprise systems 10x faster — your website gets that same attention to performance.
We use the same tools that power Netflix, Airbnb, and other major platforms — not outdated WordPress or Wix templates.
No tech jargon. No disappearing for weeks. Just straight talk about what your website needs and honest timelines.
I kept seeing the same frustrating pattern: small businesses getting ripped off by agencies charging thousands for WordPress sites that load slowly, break constantly, and look like everyone else's. Or worse, struggling with DIY website builders that waste their time and still look unprofessional.
Here's the thing — the technology that powers the fastest, most reliable websites on the internet is actually free. Netflix, Airbnb, and major tech companies all use it. The only barrier is that someone has to know how to build with it.
That's what we do. We take the same modern tools that big companies use and build websites for small businesses — at prices that actually make sense. No bloated overhead. No account managers. No layers of bureaucracy. Just a developer who knows what he's doing, charging fair prices for quality work.
Jessica and I started Mosaic Ridge because we believe every business deserves a website that works — one that loads fast, looks professional, and actually brings in customers. We're building this as a family business, and our reputation in this community depends on doing right by our neighbors.

We recently moved to the Shenandoah Valley to be closer to family and raise our son in a community we believe in. We're not just building a business here — we're building a life.
We work with businesses throughout the Valley and beyond:
We also work with clients throughout Virginia and beyond.
We offer a 20% discount on all services for Christian organizations and businesses owned by active duty military or veterans.
Just mention it when you reach out — we'll take care of the rest.
Let's talk about your project. No pressure, no sales pitch — just a conversation about how we can help your business grow online.
