Frequently asked
Common questions before getting started.
Where do you work?
I'm in Churchville, in the Shenandoah Valley. Most of my clients are a short drive away in Staunton, Harrisonburg, Waynesboro, Lexington, or Charlottesville, but I work with people anywhere by phone and email. Meeting in person anywhere in the Valley is easy to set up.
How much does a website cost?
Plans run $150 to $400 a month, plus a one-time setup fee of $500 to $1,500. Every plan has a 12-month minimum, then goes month-to-month. Bigger custom projects get their own quote. The full list is on the Services page.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most Foothold sites take 2 to 3 weeks. Ridgeline takes 3 to 4 weeks, and Summit usually 4 to 6, depending on what goes into it. The biggest factor is usually how quickly the photos and wording come together, and I help with both.
Will my website work for people with disabilities?
Yes. Every site is built and tested so people with disabilities can use it. If anyone finds a problem, it gets fixed. That means readable text and colors, a site you can use with just a keyboard, clear labels on forms, and checks with screen-reader software. It's part of every plan at no extra cost.
